Background

Since the entry of the new century, Beijing is devoting to the development of modern manufacturing. In October 2002, Beijing Municipal Government decided to set up Beijing Bioengineering & Pharmaceutical Industrial Park in Daxing District.

Natural Environment

Location: CBP is in the south of Beijing, with the Sixth Ring road in the north, Weiyong Road in the south, Jingkai Highway in the east and Yong Ding River in the west.

Climate: The climate in CBP is semi-humid, with an average annual temperature of 11.5°C, precipitation of 568.9 mm and wind speed of 2.6 meters/ second.
Geology: Situated on the allusive plain of Yonding River, CBP has a foundation of stable lamination rocks of the Paleozoic era.
Hydrology: CBP enjoys abundant water resources. It’s close to NianTan Reservoir and the main channel of the projects to divert water from the south to the north.
Transportation

Aviation: It’s 40 kilometers from CBP to the Capital International Airport.
Sea transportation: It’s 90 kilometers from CBP to Tianjin Harbor.
Railway: It’s 1.5 kilometers from CBP to Huangcun Railway Station, and 25 kilometers to Beijing railway station.
Road: CBP is located at the junction of the Jingkai Highway and the Sixth ring road.
Subway: The 4th subway in plan will enable direct arrival at CBP

Bus: Buses No.957, No.937, No.962, No.410 and No.968 go through the Park.

Living Environment

There are various kinds of villas and apartment buildings, shopping centers, primary and middle schools, colleges and universities, perfect commercial services, medical care institutes, a golf course and other recreational facilities in the Park.  

Infrastructure

Water supply: Water is supplied by a standard water plant with the water quality up to international drinking standards.

Drainage: Rainwater and polluted water are drained separately.

Heat supply: A central heat plant is available for production as well as living of enterprises.

Natural gas: Natural gas resource is abundant.

Power supply：Industry electricity of 110KV is guaranteed.

Internet connection：Broardband network is available.

Telecom：A telecom branch providing information services such as national and international telephones and telegraphs.

Land: level, without barriers.
